Raymond Andrew Prizes

In memory of Professor Dr. Raymond Andrew and to honour his pioneering work in the field of magnetic resonance the AMPERE Bureau has decided to found a Raymond Andrew Prize. The prize is awarded to young scientists for an outstanding PhD thesis in magnetic resonance.

The Raymond Andrew Prize 2011 was awarded to Dr. Mark Hunter during the EUROMAR congress in Frankfurt/Main, Germany in August 2011 for the thesis:

"Measurement and Simulation of the Nonlocal Dispersion Tensor in Porous Media."

written in the group of Paul Callaghan.

The Raymond Andrew Prize 2010 was awarded to Dr. Benjamin Wylie during the joint EUROMAR/ISMAR congress in Florence, Italy in July 2010 for the thesis:

"Solid-State Magic Angle Spinning NMR Methods for Tensor Measurements and Protein Structure Refinement Using Chemical Shift Tensors."

written in the group of Chad M. Rienstra.

The Raymond Andrew Prize 2009 was awarded to Dr. Nils Lakomek during the EUROMAR congress in Göteborg, Sweden in July 2009 for the thesis:
